Little Conkers- The Children’s Garden
We are a family run day nursery which opened in February 2016. We offer the flexibility of a childminder with the security and education of a day nursery.

We are open from 7:30 am till 6pm providing all day care as well as a preschool/nursery sessions. We are a relaxed setting who pride ourselves on high quality education with a home from home feel. We also offer holiday camp for 5-7 year olds for school holidays and school inset days.

We have 2 settings in Stevenage, Willows Link is our setting for 6 months – 2 year olds Nokeside is our setting for 2 to 5 year old- we also have 2 SEND hubs at Nokeside to support children with additional needs and to provide a small classroom for extra support and interventions!

We follow a Hygge ethos, we provide a calm approach to learning and the environment, we believe every child should have access to high quality education!

Meet the Managers

Rebecca Cunningham
Rebecca Cunningham
Becky holds a BA honours in Education Studies and a Foundation Degree in Early Years and has a wealth of experience in childcare. She began her career as a childminder before moving into a school setting, where her passion for early education continued to grow. In February 2016, Becky co-founded Little Conkers to create a nurturing and inclusive environment for young children. As a trained SENCO, she places Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) at the heart of everything she does. Becky is also a proud mum of four and enjoys horse riding, Pilates, and going to the gym in her spare time.
Jordan Cunningham
Jordan Cunningham
Jordan is a qualified Level 3 Early Years Educator who began her journey in a school setting. She joined Becky in opening Little Conkers in 2016, sharing a vision of high-quality early years education in a caring, family-focused environment. Jordan is a dedicated mum of two and, when she’s not at Little Conkers, she enjoys Pilates, family holidays, and spending quality time with her loved ones.
